KONTRÄR ART: The Great Noice

The starting point for The Triennal presented in the summer of 2025, was the persecution and accusations against “the other” 350 years ago. “The Great Noise” brought together 33 contemporary artists who interpreted the theme based on different aspects of the fabric of society then and now, under the artistic direction of Helena Byström and Karolina Aastrup. It is high time for southern Sweden to take in the art scene in Ådalen, Ångermanland, the High Coast and Medelpad.

KONTRÄR ART: Triennalen will take place on November 14, and include a presentation and conversation about the Triennale with the curators as well as the three artists who participated in “The Great Noise”: Sam Hultin, Björn Ola Lind and Rut Karin Zettergren.

In collaboration with Konstfrämjandet Västernorrland and Region Västernorrland.
