Konträr is a subscription-funded independent stage for contemporary performance in Stockholm.

Konträr presents world premieres, international guest performances and new artistic formats.

The subscription model makes it possible to work long-term and internationally — outside the logic of ticket sales.

Through co-productions, residencies and annual showcases, Konträr strengthens the international presence of Sweden’s independent performing arts scene.

Konträr was founded by Freja Hallberg, Jenny Möller Jensen and Linda Forsell, who together form the artistic leadership of the stage.
