An impossible romance between art and money. An intimate and absurd duet of codependency, freedom and the silent brutality in needing what you can’t survive with.
A show that’s both philosophical and deeply physical. Created by Freja Hallberg, in close collaboration with Vanja Ejdus and Milica Stefanović
Art and money is a continuation of Freja Hallbergs artistic study of relations that burn and impact. Here in a stripped down, raw and rhythmical form that merge the playful with the merciless.
The work was created in Belgrade during a time when the Serbian national theatre shut down.
This gave the show an unsuspected political turn and another dimension of seriousness.
Performed in Serbian with English subtitles.
