On Södermalm in Stockholm, four friends talk about the future. It seems dark. But that’s just the way it is, in this country.
Raoul Ek and Miriam Leandoer are directing Siri Lindblom’s play “Death, Mariatorget”.
“Death, Mariatorget” is a post-dramatic portrayal of youth in Stockholm today. About apathy, boredom and not wanting to die. A choral work in the form of a staged reading.
Sensitive audiences are warned about everything, really. But above all about despair, ketamine and stupid upper-middle-class youth. English expressions. The word fuck is said seven times, unfortunately.
This guest performance is a collaboration with students at Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH)
The performance is in Swedish.
