Finnish festival at KONTRÄR runs 21–23 November 2025. The festival highlights some of Finland’s most interesting artists right now – and makes Östgötagatan vibrate with karaoke, disco tanssi and contemporary performing arts.
Four wild and hopeful artists unite their creative powers and bring to life a work in which the four seasons fall in love with the courage of modernism, the ugliness of farce, the vertigo of classical music and the body’s own avant-garde. Elina Pirinen, Tom Rejström, Jenni-Elina von Bagh and fourteen-year-old Olavi von Bagh each carry a piece of a four-piece pizza – a brutal composition where limitless characters, flowing words and a free, airy dance merge into a common desire for the stage and seasonal dream.
The performance will premiere at the Moving in November festival, November 2025.
The festival is created in collaboration with UusiTeatteri with the support of Teater Info Finland – TINFO and the Culture Fund for Sweden and Finland.
