When autumn winds blow and storm, when the veil between the human world and the spiritual is at its thinnest, KONTRÄR invites you to celebrate Samhain –- the Witches’ New Year! 

We welcome two of our favorite witches; Veronica Näslund and Rebecca Tiger, to create an evening in the spirit of mystery and magic. We open the doors to a world that many of us never experience. A celebration of death, a celebration of liberation where we reach out to those who have moved on, and affirm the darkness.

KONTRÄR aims to open doors to worlds that many may never experience; this is an evening we will not forget.
The ceremony starts at 8:00 PM and lasts about 90 minutes, but the doors open at 6:00 PM! You can mingle with witches, receive a reading, get a tattoo, enjoy an herbal drink, or purchase a handcrafted gift for yourself or a friend. After the ceremony, we will be open until 11:00 PM.

Rebecca Tiger creates ceremonies that honor life’s transitions, from the ordinary to the magical. As a nature priestess and artist, she guides individuals through changes and celebrations, rooted in Nordic traditions and herbal knowledge. Her practice unites magic, connection to nature, and voice in harmony with the present moment. Through storytelling and ceremony, she helps people find meaning. Rebecca’s work with Nordic animism and sejd involves connecting with the land, elements, and our ancestors.

Veronica Näslund Kwansa is a priestess, witch, medium, yogini, and dancer. She holds ceremonies, sacred circles, seances, and creates choreography for various performances and events. She is proud to be part of the editorial team for the podcast “Formödrars Makt,” sits on the board of Malin Matsdotter’s Herb Garden, and loves to delve into occultism, magic, and fantasy.
